Twins!!!
I think we have informed just about everyone, but we are having twins. CRAZY! Mike and I are still in a little bit of shock, but also very excited with this journey God has placed us on. Twin A is growing great and has a good stron heart beat. Twim B is measuring about 6 days behind and the heartbeat is about 6 beats slower. Our fertility doctor estimates a 50-50 chance of survival for Twin B. However, Mike and I know God's plan is far bigger than any statistics and are praying that both of our miracles grow to full term. Through my at home research it sounds as if these measurements are extremely common which is reassuring, but again I know there is a reason for both of these beautiful babies to be growing inside of me and can't wait to hold them both soon! Please keep us all in your prayers. My last pregnancy was less than smooth so we are looking forward to enjoying this one and praying for health for my babies and myself. And sanity for everyone else in the family!!! I have to thank my good friend Leslie, for already offering her help for anything I may need and for being so supported! Les, you are a great friend!!! Thank you!!

July 4th
We celebrated my birthday on the 4th of July. Michael and the kids made sure they got my balloons, cards, and a cake. Those are my requirements! lol. We also celebrated the night before at dinner at The Texas Roadhouse. And on the 4th I got one of my other favorites, Salsa Leedos for lunch. Yes, food is a very big deal for me these days!
That evening we had our friends the Runia's over for a barbque and swimming and games. We had a lot of fun. We had a fire restriction on fireworks this year and the police were out in full force patrolling the neighborhood. Luckily, we didn't get in trouble for our sparklers and pop its!!! Big time lame on the firework front, but New Year's will be fun!!
POOP! I just went to upload all my photos and they erased!!!!!!! UGH

National American Miss Pageant
Something I thought I would never be is a "pageant mom." Well, for one weekend only I kind of was one. I say kind of because yes, my daughter was in a pageant, but I was not the crazy mom spending every dime we ever had to win a competition for a nine year old. The weekend was exhausting and everyone was relieved when it ended. We are so proud of Jordyn for being able to conduct an interview and speak to a crowd of strangers. Jordyn was recommended by someone for the pageant and was chosen as a state finalist for Utah. The pageant really focuses on girls being there age, so no make up no professional hair do's, no fake teeth! Another big focus is teaching the girls to be confident speaking into a microphone in front of a large group, as well as holding interviews. Jordyn did very well at both and she looked beautiful in her formal wear. She is growing way to fast, but we are so proud of the young lady she is becoming! At the end I think we decided we are more the athletic family than the pageant family and I am more than ok with that!
