Miranda Lambert Concert

Friday, March 16th Mike took me to the Miranda Lambert Concert! It was my Valentine's Day present and jewelry be darned I will take Miranda anyday! I LOVE her! Jerrod Neiman and Chris Young opened for her and Chris Young became 1 of my new favorites! He was amazing! Did I mention Miranda Lambert was there! I could see her sweat! Thank you, Babe for taking me, I was a blast! My country girl came out and the next day my throat was so sore from yelling and singing! Can't wait for the next concert!!!

Miranda's pink acoustic guitar is the exact one Jordyn has, which we thought was cool!!

Jordyn Turns 9!

Jordyn Riley Colligan was born on March 17th, 2003. That is 9 years ago! Wow, do I feel old! Being my first born I had no idea what to expect. We had Jake, but he was 5 when we got married so the whole baby stage was new! I loved Jordyn from even before she was conceived and that love has multiplied everyday since. She is sweet, caring, generous, beautiful, smart, stubborn, sassy, and funny! The girl can go from sweet as can be to ATTITUDE! I don't know where she gets it from! LOL Why couldn't she inherit only my good traits! Anyway, she had a birthday party on Saturday with her girlfriends. Our friend made the awesome guitar cake and we did the pinata in the garage! After the party we met up with our other good friends for dinner and a little birthday shopping. Jordyn was spoiled and reminded of what great friends she has. No family was able to visit this year which was a bummer, but the phone lines were busy keeping everyone up to date!

I can't believe my baby is 9! I am so thankful to be home with her each day. The time still goes fast, but I cherish even the difficult days, knowing one day I will miss even them. Our "Woomba" is going to go far in this world and I hope I am around to see all of her accomplishments. Her love for the Lord is so amazing and a reminder that I may fail at a lot of things, but we have succeeding in nourishing her relationship with Christ and that is so important to us. Thank you Lord for our beautiful daughter! And Happy Birthday Woomba Mosinka Mo Foo!!

Daddy/Daughter Dance

I am such a bad blogger! In February, yes, February our church had a daddy/daughter dance. This was the first year that both of our daughters were able to attend. Mike got the girls corsages and they wore their "foo foo" dresses. They had so much fun! Jordyn got to sing on stage with her friend Tiana. They sang Justin Bieber's Baby song! I am pretty sure that was the highlight of Jordyn's life! She couldn't stop talking about how cool it was! Thank you, Andy for letting her "help" Tiana!

Daddy and Jordyn ready to go to the dance. Ireland was not convinced yet so no picture!

Ireland at the dance.
She LOVED her corsage!

Happy 4th Birthday Ireland!

March 3, 2008 was a changing day in all of our lives! Ireland Cassidy Colligan joined are clan at 4:30 pm weighing in at a whopping 3.5 lbs and 19 inches long. She was 2 months early! After 30 days in the NICU she was brought home for the first time. Our little Monkey has been a fighter from the beginning! She brings so much joy to our family and laughter! We celebrated her 4th birthday on Saturday. She wanted a "tea party" with a Princess twist. She had 5 of her friends, her sister and her brother and Miss Darci at her party! It turned out great and she had a special day. We ended the evening at Red Robin and Baskin Robbins and I think we all passed out at 8pm!!! Happy 4th Birthday Monkey! We love you so much. Thank you God for our beautiful miracle of Ireland. We trust that Your plan for her will be huge and we pray that she fulfills those plans to the best of her abilities! Thank you for blessing us with her! Here are a ton of photos of her big day!

My husband

My husband is such a hottie! I can't keep my hands off him!!! He's so awesome.

Snow? In Utah? Never!

Considering it is March in Utah, snow shouldn't be a big deal. However, there has been NO snow all season. This has been the strangest winter we have had her in 10 years. We are used to the 1st snow fall being in October and sometimes sticking around until June! Not this year! So, last night we got our first BIG snow and my girls were loving it! Here is some of the fun they had. After 2 hours outside I had to force them to come inside so they didn't freeze to death!

February

February wasn't too eventful, but we did manage to take the girls to the aquarium and I finally uploaded the photos, so that's all you get for the month!! I promise March will be much more interesting. Both girls have birthdays in March!
