So, for most people St. Patrick's Day is all about green beer, but in the Colligan Home it is all about Jordyn Riley's Birthday! That's right Jordyn was born on St. Patrick's Day in 2003! I can't believe my baby girl is 6! She isn't so much of a baby anymore! This year we had a High School Musical Party for her big day! What a turn out, we had a house full of giggling girls! And Mrs. Lucas came as well. If you don't know, Mrs. Lucas is one of the best teachers we have ever met! She was a huge help and Jordyn is so proud she made it for her birthday party!

It doesn't seem so long ago that we were bringing Jordyn home for the first time. She has so many crazy nicknames, but one of our favorites is Woomba(woom-ba) Don't ask me how I came up with it because I have no idea! But for her entire life if you ask her what her name is she would include Woomba in the answer. She told me the other day that no matter how old she was she would always be my Woomba! We are so proud of you, Jordyn! You bring sunshine to our lives daily. Thank you Lord for such a beautiful gift! We love you!

I wanted to post some fun pics of Ireland. Most are of her 1st hair cut, which was just trimming her bangs. How appropriate is it that my 1 year old has a nice bruise right on her forehead? We also painted her fat little toes for the first time and I couldn't resist posting the photo of her "flinstone" feet(thanks for those, mom) :)

Ireland is 1 today1

I can't believe how quickly time flies! Our baby girl is one year old today. We celebrated her birthday on Saturday with my mom and grandpa. She loved her cake and playing in it of course. She is trying very hard to walk on her own, but isn't quite there yet. She had a rough start at life coming into this world 2 months early, but she was perfect then and is just as perfect now! Thanks to everyone for all your prayers, she is a feisty one! Enjoy the pics of Ireland's 1st Birthday!
