Portland 2012
This year our trip to Portland was short and sweet. So, If I didn't get a chance to see you please forgive me!! We made the insane decision to drive this year and save some money! It actually went well, but is very long!
We started at Mike's parents house, went to my mom's and sister's and then had to head home.
Here are the pictures that are much better to see than just read what I have to say!

May
May started out bitter sweet. May 1st is my grandma's (Mammer) birthday. This was the first she celebrated in Heaven. I am certain it was a glorious celebration, but selfishly I miss her. Someday we will celebrate together again and how beautiful that will be!
Mother's Day was once again a beautiful Sunday. My kiddos and hubby brought me breakfast in bed and spoiled me with heartfelt cards. Jordyn even got me a Miranda Lambert CD with her own money because she knows Miranda is one of my favorites! So sweet! My son, who is often times too cool for me really surprised me. I will stop there so I don't ruin his image too bad!! We went to church, lunch and then to the zoo. My family knows the zoo is one of my favorite places in the world so it has become a tradition to take me there on Mother's Day. The day was great and though I am a little biased I do have the best kids and hubby a girl could ask for. Thank you Lord for the gift of each one of them.
The soccer club Jordyn plays for invited each player to the parade of kings at one of the Real games. Talk about chaos!!! The kids thought it was the coolest thing ever and we were proud too! Basically, the kids walk the field just before game time, but you would have thought they were celebrities. We stayed and watched our first professional soccer game. WOW! We loved it. We had so much fun and can't wait to go again!
Jordyn's Spring season soccer ended and she decided to tryout for the competition team and made it. So our season break wasn't as long as we planned because she starts right back up this week. Her life is about to get a lot more busy and so is ours!
June 1st was Jake and Jordyn's last day of school. Unbelievable that our boy will be a senior in 2 months! Jordyn will be in 4th grade and Ireland will be in pre-k. Time flies when you are crazy!!!!!
April
I have not been in the blogging mood. So if anyone really reads this, sorry! YOu are about to get a massive fill in!
April started off with Jordyn's friend Hannah coming to stay with us. Hannah is my bff's little girl. Janae and I grew up across the street from each other in Gresham, Oregon and now our kiddos are friends all these states away from each other. We love it. I for the life of me can't find all the pictures we took so for now I will post what I've got. The girls had so much fun just hanging out. We took them to the fun center and to an Easter Egg Dive. Hopefully, we can make a tradition of Hannah coming to town!
After Hannah flew back to Oregon, Easter snuck up on us. Easter Sunday was beautiful. We dressed up and headed to church. Funny as it is there was an Easter Egg Hunt for the kids followed by a family service. We had our large Easter dinner on Monday because Jake was at his mom's house Sunday.
And then....soccer started. Which consumed every weekend from that point forward! We are a soccer family though and love to watch Jordyn play!
I am sure I am forgetting something, but for now you get photos!!!!
